#BookReview: The Colours Of Passion by Sourabh Mukherjee

The Colours Of Passion by Sourabh Mukherjee is a  murder mystery published on 1st August 2017 by Readomania. The cover page of the book is very eye catchy and is beautifully designed in red, white and yellow colours. The cover page is having an image of a blood stained knife and in the knife the beautiful picture of Howrah Bridge. The cover page is very apt with the story.

The Colours Of Passion revolves around the murder of Tollywood actress Hiya Sen and ACP Agni Mitra investigates this high profile murder where he meets Manav, Hiya's husband, Manav's ex fiancée, her father. Agni starts finding the answers to the questions and unveil shocking truths.
The book is set in Kolkata's glamorous world of industrialists, movie stars, models and fashion designers laced with drug addiction and illicit liaisons.

The Colours Of Passion is an intense murder mystery. It is a fast paced story having short chapters making it pacy. There are a lot of characters in the story but the author has characterized them well. The language of the book is simple and is flowing. All the events are very well described, giving very detailed explanation and can be visualized very well by a reader. The story is full of twists and turns and author has penned down very nicely. The narration is really good and author has done a great job with it. The book will keep the reader hooked up till the end. A very engrossing read with a lot of drama and a good murder mystery. The title is very well justified and composed. Overall, a page turner and an amazing read for murder mystery readers.
