#BookReview: This Is Not Your Story by Savi Sharma
"Sometimes, you do not write your story, it writes you. You don’t choose your story, it chooses you. But would you believe it if someone told you, ‘This is Not Your Story’? Would you have the courage to rewrite it?"
This is not your story is the second book from the bestselling author of Everyone Has A Story, Savi Sharma. The novel is an inspiring fiction tale released on 14th February 2017 and published by Westland ltd. The cover page is very simple and subtle in colours of brown and orange having a view of a couple standing at the railway station which is very much connectable to the story.
This Is Not Your Story is a tale of Shaurya, a CA student who wants to achieve his dream of going to Mumbai and becoming a filmmaker. On the contrary is Anubhav, an aspiring entrepreneur who has blessings of his parents to achieve his dream and is working in Bangalore. Miraya, is Shaurya's next door neighbour's cousin, she is an interior designer and has a very dreadful past.
The plot is very engaging and is slaying. Author has sketched the characters very well. One can easily relate with the happenings of the plot. The narration is very inspirational and is a ride filled with heartfelt emotions.Author has used her magic of words to narrate a relatable story. The prologue is very beautiful and author has made us feel that one can rewrite his story. As usual, like her first book she has used various quotes which are very inspiring. The pace of the book is fast. She has used the the first person point of view in each chapter which is very impressive. A very motivating and an enthralling read.
Overall, this novel by Savi Sharma is a beautiful read. One can easily finish it in one sitting. I highly recommend this book to everyone because each one of us wants to be motivated.
