#BookReview: The Origin of Martin Krooger by Sameer Kumar

" Hell is not hellish. It is simply a harsh energy extraction mode since harsh memories and evil deeds are too rigid to be extracted"

The Origin of Martin Krooger is the first novel written  by author Sameer Kumar. The novel was published in October 2016 by Half Baked Beans. It is a Fantasy Thriller novel. The cover page of the book is blue in colour and is very attractive and  connectable to the plot.
The story revolves around Martin Krooger. The other characters of the story are Agusthus, the most powerful God, Moira, the dughter of Agusthus, Grey Castle, the Prince of nirvana , Queen Iris, Gray's mother and several others. The book is set in various places such as Nirvana, Eva, Alexas, Nukavyas etc.
All the characters are very well evolved having a particular role. The book is written in a very simple language which is very easy to read. A reader can easily visualize the happenings which is appreciative. At some points, the story seems a bit descriptive. Something which is very unique in the book are the different poems in each chapter which I as a reader really liked. The plot is very new and the narration is superb and hats off to author's imagination.
Overall it is an engaging and an enthralling read. Those who love fantasy thrillers this book is a must read.
